@Upphouse I believe the only reason why you use the BCE Before Common Era, and also use CE Common Era, is because you don't believe in Jesus. Otherwise you would use to BC Before Christ and AD After Death regardless if it made sense or not. Where's the Love for keeping history from changing!

The month always began with the first sliver of the moon (right to left!) And ends with the new moon (full conjunction with the sun). Not sure where you get that the month began with a full moon...

The account in Matthew of the star appearing at Jesus Birth, So Herod Diligently sought the date from the wisemen to kill the child. And they saw the CHILD not baby in a HOUSE not the Manger and were warned of God of Herod and went hom another way. So when Jesus departed to Egypt he was somewhere around two years of age. According to Matthew for Herod killed all the children two years of age and younger.

Then Jesus is in egypt for a time not a weekend or a single month. Where the angel appears to Joseph and said those that sought the childs death are now dead.

The Assumption that only Herod alone sought to kill the child is not substanciated in this text the THEY Plural that sought to kill the child are dead. Herod is named as giving the commandment but the ones ENFORCING this order continued for we could speculate months or even a few years.

As Herod's order was probably never recinded and quite possibly as in other verses in scripture a reward was offered for the child.

So this man as Offical as he makes his claims sound there are dozens that do the same thing all having arguements and TWEEK CALENDARS and DATES to argue what they want.

And ALMOST ALWAYS it is because they are using these broken crutches to uphold PHONEY DATES on other things as this is a mere foundation indicated at the end of this article BOASTING of his Next Installment that he alludes will be upheld by his limited research all depending upon other peoples writings and theories given out over and over for the last few hundreds years.

I have 45 years in Church history and reading original ancient writing. I Also have studied Greek and Hebrew for 45 years and more recently Latin.
