Yer projection is a nice opening move even if predictable and a wee bit passive aggressive. But not enough so far to save you from being boring.

You will have to do better than vague charges and silly name calling(Racist! Misogynist! Lions! Tigers! Bears! etc etc). You will also have to do better than appealing to yer anecdotal experience as it contradicts mine and in my mind mine has the controlling vote. The Catholic Church is the only egalitarian thing left in the world and the only thing standing between women and the Abyss. Thanks to the new Gender language tyranny women are being erased. One need not heed the council of Conservative Catholic women intellectuals to know this truth(like a Prof VonHildabrand or Ronda Cervin or a Donna Stichen). One can look at political liberals like Tulsi Gabbard or (alledged) "liberal" Popes like Our Holy Father Francis who see it as plain as day.
As it stands being a women in this environment is meaningless since any weird fellow with a beard and hair on his back can put on pink shorts(& not the cool stylish kind we wore in the 80's but I date myself) and call himself a chick and use the same locker room as you and other younger females.

I am sure that won't go wrong at all..... So color me skeptical.

PS So are you gonna bring up the inquisition in the next post? Or Galileo? OR the sex abuse scandal? Witch burning? Slavery perhaps? Because I am hoping against hope you won't be predictable and give me a good original argument I never heard before. But that is a lot to hope for and I am used to disappointment in that area. Ah the burden of being Moi.

Well I am a kid from Long Island and that type of Church you speak of I have never seen. Racism doesn't exist in middle class neighborhoods you see. It is low class. ;-) Out here in the city OTOH we have ethnic parishes so people can hang with the like minded. So the only "racism" is general ethnic prejudices toward others.

Then yer theology dept must have been crap because you don't strike me as theologically sophisticated at all. Yer all talk so far. Reactionary Trads (anti V2 types aren't Catholic they are the opposite of liberals. They are no more than high church Protestants with Rosaries. The rabble among them aren't sophisticated in theology or scholasticism. Only the Trad intelligentsia are more sophisticated and tolerable. Let us see if you are up to snuff. I am used to disappointment in that area.

My my did I touch a nerve? Is that what you do with everyone who has a criticism against the Church? Dismiss their experiences? Why does it rile you so much to know that the Catholic Church has a misogynist agenda and has had so since it's founding? That it was and still is rife with racism which it pays lip service. Im usually the first one to apology when I've upset someone but Im making an exception.

Actually Im quite young. Im a Generation Xer. And yes my parish was full of stiff traditionalists. And in addition to experiencing misogyny I also experienced racism from my fellow Catholics. And as far as theology I got A's it was one of the few classes that came easy to me. So I forgive you.
