Retrocausality is causality that works out backwards in time. Normally, people see that the billiard ball is shoved by my hand, rolls along the track, hits another billiard ball, and that billiard ball starts moving. But another way to think about that interaction is that the billiard ball moved backwards in time, hit the first billiard ball, and the billiard ball lands in my hand.

In physics, some interpret the production of particle pairs (a particle and an anti-particle) in this way. Sometimes a high energy particle of light, a photon, will produce an electron and a positron. A positron is what an electron would look like if it moved back in time. So some physicists interpret this event as:

An electron moves backwards in time, collides with a photon moving forward in time, and this scatters the electron to move forward in time.

There's even an interpretation of quantum mechanics that works along these lines. It explains why the pair production from a photon can't be predicted is because predictions are made from history. If things moving forward in time can interact with things moving backward in time, and therefore that that haven't 'started' yet, some of the interaction details can't be predicted from the particle history.

The name calling I was referring to was saying Paul was "Infected with... irrationality". (Perhaps I should have specified.) This is not about the use of "Hilary" specifically. Comments like Paul "avoids reality", and that he "promotes an ideology cloaked in psuedo-science" violates the guidelines. We are to engage the arguments, not the source.

This is not about parity. I was letting you know that the commenting guidelines exist, because those that violate the rule of -do not attack the source -get banned. I didn't want to see that happen to you. But now that you've called me a "PC baby"- off with your head! ;) Oh, wait, that's not very PC. :)

I think you are rushing to judgement about Paul- he is a lovely contributor here. I hope you will be too.
