What is your standard then for how much brain power one should have in order to be allowed to live? I’m sure there are a lot of people who have more brain power than you, should we terminate you? If your standard is livestock then how do you know that a fetus doesn’t have as much brain power , is that based upon science or just your own observations?

Pregnant women can carry their unwanted babies to term and arrange for adoption. Many childless couples will agree not only to adopt an unborn child, but to help out the pregnant woman financially. I personally know a married couple quite well who adopted twins this way. It worked out well for all involved.

It is not that many woman who have abortions don't want to have a baby (or an additional baby). It's that they don't even want to go through with a pregnancy. I suppose I should say, "Who am I to judge?" I'm glad I can't get pregnant! But there is almost no stigma today with having a baby out of wedlock, so it is less of an ordeal for an unmarried woman to carry a baby to term and give it up for adoption. Of course, a lot of abortions are procured by married women who have children and for some reason don't want another one. It is difficult for me to understand how a married couple who already has had children together could abort what would be their next child.

It's not a plant but it has all the sentience thought and self awareness of a plant. Livestock has more brain power than a fetus.

You could get someone else to take the child, you could put the child up for adoption, you can't really do that with a fetus. Also there are significant developmental differences between a toddler and a fetus.

>It’s like killing a plant.< You’ve arrived at the foundation of the issue, it is killing but unlike a plant which you don’t mind killing, it is not a plant or else your uterus might produce a watermelon, instead despite your preference your uterus houses a baby even if you prefer the developmental term fetus.

You have more rights to your own body than your own house. Also we’re dealing with a fetus. In an early fetus there’s no brain waves, no sentience no ability to feel pain nothing. It’s like killing a plant.

If making a child leave a house will result in the child's death, then making the child leave the house is homicide. If you force a toddler to leave the house in subzero weather, you are killing the child.

It isn’t an analogy. A uterus is an organ. You can make a kid leave a house without killing them. Not a uterus though for an early fetus

Nonsense. Your organ analogy fails.
Can you also kill any babies that happen to be in your house?

It’s one thing if you can’t save anyone but if you could save someone with no risk to you and choose to do nothing theres not much difference between actively killing them.

And there is a risk to a pregnant women. People still die giving birth
