Both theists and atheists can be agnostic. Agnostic doesn't answer the same question that theist and atheist does. Atheist and theist answer the question 'Do you BELIEVE in god.' "Believe" being the operative word. Agnostic answers the question 'Do you KNOW that a god exists.' "Know" being the operative word here. I, myself, am an agnostic atheist. I do not know that there is no god but I do not believe that there is one. When asking the question "Does god exist" you're not going to find out if the person you're talking to is theist or atheist you're just going to find out whether they're gnostic or agnostic. Which is a completely separate issue from belief.

You couldn't be more ignorant if you tried. Babies don't think about purpose in life or if there is a creator because they're preoccupied with eating and playing. An atheist is someone who does not believe in God. Therefore since babies don't even ponder the subject of if there is a God or not, they are not atheists, because they made no conclusion that there is no God.
And if you're going to argue that babies are atheists simply because they don't have an opinion on the matter, then that contradicts atheism being concluded from rational deduction of evidence for the reality of our world and universe. By your reasoning for babies being atheists, they would also be flat earthers because they don't believe the world is round. You want to have your cake and eat it, too.

Stones and dogs do not fabricate the immaterial/concept Theism ergo they are ATheist. Babies don't, either but they have the capability of evolving into Theists.

if UK deny that babies are atheist because they don't believe there is no god, them what do you say about a person who has never been taught there is a god? if a person reached adulthood without having investigated whether or not there is a god does it make him less an atheist than someone who has logically concluded after examining the evidence in support of both sides?
no, it doesn't. the fact is that atheist simply means one who lacks belief in god and therefore babies are atheists.
the idea that an atheist must believe there is no god is a Christian one exclaiming that if you don't believe there is no god you must be agnostic, not atheist. this is flawed thinking. try googling the definition of the word. agnostic and atheist are synonyms. they literally mean the same thing .
to say anything else is to make atheism a religion and is counterproductive to the atheist movement to begin with.

I am an atheist. I don't believe in any god. If you want to argue that I should believe in some god, we can do that. If you want to argue about whether I fit your preferred definition of atheist, I will probably decline to waste my time.
