Positivism is dogmatic STUPIDITY, defended as it must be by falsehoods and deceptions imposed upon others.

Sorry to put it this way, but she's just stupid. Nothing makes any sense to her. This is why only 1.6% of Americans (PEW R,2018) with college educations are atheists. Atheism DEFINES stupid. Atheism IS Stupid. All her responses are not answers but expressions of Stupid. She's stupid. And chooses it. She does not WANT to know reality. As Freud observed, the intellect is the slave of the passions. I'm not insulting by the way. Stupid is a condition. That she is a free willed rational agent who cannot possibly deny the profound moral core of existence that courses through us, makes it a culpable stupidity unless mitigated by significant historical causes. She's just stupid or playing at stupid.

That really is frankly so dumb. It is our God given nature manifest through conscience and experience to defend and do good and resist and avoid doing evil. Catholicism affirms and delivers BEING and Intelligibilty Himself, affirming our very nature. It seems most of your notions of what religion is are protestant and fideistic. Fideism is of course nuts. Like evolutionism; the morphing of mere descriptive detail at best into an abstracted raison d'etre. It really is just dumb.

It is so gobsmackingly funny to see GHF continually anthropomorphising the great god "evolution" which is only a descriptive science when it is actually describing something at beast. GHF divinizes this collection of observations while she robustly lives Aquinas' hierarchical schema as she must. Flowers are drawn by Love to sunlight. They don't get or see final causality. They dogpaddle around in the unintelligible swamp of Aristotle's "material" causes and efficient causes but are completely blind to the hierarchically ordered finality of all causes. Yet of course they must and cannot help but actually live according to Final causality and its immediate transcendent core in BEING of which they participate like it or not. And yet simple causality delivers the unavoidable "actus purus".. the transcendent God who IS Love beyond our understanding. The fallback is that the garden hose doesn't tell her how to operate it, but of course it does. I guess if nothingness as the "reason" is pounded into everyone dogmatically from the day they don't murder you in the hospital to today, the whole notion of BEING and Intelligence is cognitively blocked out as the road never travelled. What a curse.

It really is cartoon like reading about the Great Magical Evolution... that is acting with intentionality in the cosmos and yet is purposeless and mindless. Joke material. Perhaps this is why in the PEW Research 2018 religious landscape poll in the US , only 4% of Americans identified as atheists and only 1.6% of Americans with college educations (of the 27% of the population with degrees) thought themselves to "be" atheists which of course one cannot "be" ontologically. Atheism is a blind insistence of the will. So often Narcissus on stilts. And its so DUMB. So embarrassing.

And why should we pay attention to his unreliable intuitions on unreliable intuitions? Didn't Aquinas simply respond that a person who "thinks"..to use the term loosely here.. that way should .. If he really believed what he said, remain silent. To speak is to affirm the abstracted orderedness of all being, final causality. And to recommend a course of thought or action is to affirm intrinsic value. Atheism just is Unintelligence and incoherence. Its so DUMB! Perhaps , given dumb's original meaning, this is why Aquinas wisely advised silence to anyone dumb enough to require it. And the advise was kindly to all. What time wasters.
